Heavy-bodied, spicy and fragrant, Ethiopian Harrar is a wild and exotic dry-processed coffee that is grown on small farms in southern Ethiopia at elevations between 4,500 and 6,300 feet. The province of Harrar, is east of Addis Ababa, the country’s capitol.

For hundreds of years, the natural sun-dried method is only way farmers in Harrar have processed coffee. As the beans dry in the sun, the intact fruit imparts an exquisite wildness and hint of fermentation that resonates deep within the cup.



Ethiopian Harrar coffee is known for its winey and fruity, floral-toned acidity, rich and pungent heady aroma that is wonderfully reminiscent of blackberries. In the cup, a hint of red wine and dark chocolate.
